It is imperative that you get the correct edition, especially since three of the four texts are compilations of short pieces. Check the ISBN# and publisher to be certain that you have the correct version of each.

Initial prompt responses of 200 to 250 words will be due one week after the prompts are posted. You will be graded on your participation and the thoughtfulness of your response. You should show knowledge and insight about the text.
Comments on others’ responses will be due one week after that. Your comments should be in response to the substance of others’ initial responses and should be professional and respectful.

All summer assignment grades will be counted on the first six weeks of senior year.
